Property Access
Use the grey fob attached to the keys to unlock the main door at the concierge entrance, then walk through the double doors. At the lifts, use the fob first before entering, then press number 3 inside the lift. Door number 15.
Utility Cupboard
The washing machine and detergent, as well as a mop, vacuum cleaner, iron and ironng board are in the utility cupboard in the hallway.
Heating
You will find the thermostat on the wall in the hallway. Please remember to turn it off when you leave.
Gym
The gym is located across the courtyard. You can take the lift to the ground floor and go through the single door on the right (just ahead of the double doors leading to the concierge). Walk to the building across the courtyard and use the key fob to enter the door next to the gym.
Roof Garden
The roof garden can be accessed either by the stairs to the 5th floor, or the lift to the 5th floor.
Communal Bins
Exit through the concierge entrance, turn left and immediately turn left again. Around the corner is the communal bin storage door. You will need to use the fob to gain access.
Linen
Spare bed Linen and bathroom towels are in the bedroom closet.
Fans
A fan is provided in the property, with an extra one in the bedroom closet.
Mechanical Extract Ventilation System
Please note that the Mechanical Extract Ventilation System (MVHR) is on full power to help remove excess moisture from the property. It will make a slight humming sound once the bathroom light is turned on and will automatically turn off after 10 minutes.
Portable Air Conditioning Unit
The Portable Air Conditioner has a 7,000 BTU cooling capacity, and is supplied with several accessories, including a fabric seal and Velcro tape, which can together be used to seal around the window opening, and around the large hose to reduce cool air escaping.
You can also use the Portable Air Conditioner with just the large hose alone fed through a window opening. This should still be able to significantly cool the room and is the simplest option.
When using the Portable Air Conditioner in the bedroom, you will have to leave the balcony door slightly open for the large hose to feed through.
The smaller water drain hose is attached to a water tank with a 1 litre capacity. This smaller hose can be fed through the balcony door in the bedroom to expel water, or the end of the hose can be placed into an empty container to collect the water.
Alternatively, the small water drain hose can be removed and only attached when the water tank is full and requires draining.
While the water drain hose is removed, the black cap must be attached to avoid leakage.
The manual provides the option to attach the large hose to an outlet through a wall; this feature is for properties with wall vents, so it is not applicable. The hose should either be fed through a window or the balcony door in the bedroom.
Kitchenware
Dishes and cups can be found in the upper cabinets. Silverware is in the drawer under the hob, and pans are in the lower cabinets.
Cleaning Items
Cleaning items are located under the sink cupboard.
Keys
There is a charge of £180 for each set of lost keys and fob, including the additional cost to replace the locks for security purposes. So, please keep your keys safe.
